Rentquip provides asset and business finance solutions to South African companies. Our approach is practical: understand what the business needs, why it needs it and what difference the transaction could make.
Then we can have a sensible conversation about finance. There is no benefit in making something complicated simply because it involves finance. Business owners already have enough complicated things to deal with.
There are times when buying an asset outright is the right decision. There are also times when keeping that cash available in the business makes far more sense. Every business is different. So is every transaction. Rentquip’s role is to understand the requirement and explore an appropriate structure, subject to the relevant assessment and approval requirements.
Jason Steward
With more than 23 years of experience in banking, including serving as Head of Commercial Banking at Mercantile Bank, he brings extensive financial expertise, strategic insight, and a strong understanding of business challenges.
After a successful corporate career, he transitioned into consulting and entrepreneurship, where he now supports SMEs in navigating complex financial landscapes and identifying growth opportunities.
He completed his MBA at GIBS in 2019 and participated in the San Francisco Global Module, gaining exposure to international entrepreneurship and global business practices.
Outside of business, he is passionate about wildlife photography, golf, and fitness. These interests reflect the same qualities he brings to his professional life: patience, discipline, attention to detail, and a genuine appreciation for meaningful relationships.
